NFL Moves Up 53-Man Cutdown Deadline

The NFL has moved up the cutdown deadline to 53 players by two days for the 2024 season.

Teams must trim rosters to 53 players by 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 30, with waiver claims due at 1 p.m. ET on Monday, Aug. 31.
